Teaching dogs, cats, livestock and other species to feel comfortable being occasionally enclosed in, isolated behind a barrier, in a pen, crate or carrier can be useful and very helpful! Come learn step by step exercises to prepare your animal friend for these occasions.

What if You Need to Crate Your Animal Friend?
Join us for a talk about training your animal friend to feel comfortable behind barriers, in crates and carriers: you never know when it would help them! From making sure your puppy rides safely in the car or stays safe when alone, to transporting your cat to the veterinarian with less stress, to isolate your goat from the herd for training a medical procedure or to facilitate an emergency evacuation duraing a disaster...You never know when it would be very helpful for your animal friend to enter his crate/pen easily and not feel stressed about being temporarly confined.
We will discuss different uses of barriers and provide step by step exercices to make sure your animal feels comfortable in these situations.
